The SemsoTec Group is continuing to expand and, after Garching/ Munich and Brno/Czech Republic, is opening a 3rd production site in Cham with a surface of 5,000m².
The construction work is progressing rapidly so that the grand opening can be celebrated at the end of 2021.
With the current expansion of its capacity, SemsoTec is scaling up from small series manufacturing to producing larger series while not neglecting its product development capacities, says Jochen Semmelbauer, Managing Director of SemsoTec Holding, who at least in a professional capacity, is returning to his roots in Cham.
SemsoTec Holding stands for the complete value chain of displays and control units - from prototype development to production. The high-quality displays with embedded software and hardware solutions are ideal for applications in the automotive, medical, aerospace, eMobility, smart home and industrial automation sectors.
SemsoTec offers attractive designs in combination with state-of-the-art technologies such as touch or gesture control, handwriting recognition and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. This allows SemsoTec displays to provide efficient solutions in the case of challenging requirements such as display readability in strong sunlight, long service life or extended temperature range.
The mechanical strength is provided by a soft bonding material. The display/touch glass unit is condensation resistant and has no air gap.
